Mazda EZ-60

The Mazda EZ-60 is Mazda’s latest electric SUV based on the brand’s new all-electric platform. And that means most of the things that you see on the EZ-60 are actually designed by Mazda for this very car itself, and there’s very little part sharing. So, does this unique thing enhance the Mazda EZ-60’s driving approach or is there more to be desired from this big SUV? 

Price in UAE

The car hasn’t yet been launched here. But as for the expected price, the Mazda EZ-60 price in UAE starts from just under the AED 100,000 mark. And yes, while that does sound a slight bit expensive, the car does seem to be packing a lot. 

Variants 

There will mostly be only 1 Mazda EZ-60 variant. And that will be the 68kWh trim. No other variants will be making its way to the UAE. 

Engine & Performance 

The Mazda EZ-60’s exact engine details are yet to be released as of now. That said, it’s powered by a 68kWh battery pack which should result in a range of around 600km. That figure is not bad at all for this segment and even if it’s the claimed figure, the real world range should still be around the 500km mark. 

And even that is not a bad figure. And given that Mazda cars are usually quite reliable, it's not that range anxiety should be a big issue with the EZ-60. Even touring is something that is possible with this SUV. 

Safety

The Mazda EZ-60 features list is a long one, especially in terms of safety. Be it power door locks or driver airbags, anti lock braking system, speed sensing door locks and even fire extinguishers as well as first aid safety kits in case things go really wrong. Additionally, there’s also door ajar warnings, parking cameras all around and an engine immobilizer. 

Regular bits like lane change indicators, parking assists and even adjustable seat belts are all obviously present too. 

Features & Specifications

The Mazda EZ-60 specifications list is a solid one too. Touch screen TFT, auxiliary inputs, USB charging ports, Android auto as well as Apple carplay. Bluetooth connectivity as well as big booming speakers all around, the Mazda EZ-60 has it all. To sum things up, the EZ-60 has pretty much everything that’s expected at this price point.

Why choose the Mazda EZ-60? 

The Mazda EZ-60 2025 is sensible, practical and should be reasonably affordable to run and maintain. Now yes, it cannot handle the everyday commuting duties as easily as a compact little hatchback, but the Mazda EZ-60 has a lot of poise for what it is: a large comfortable SUV. So in sum, the Mazda EZ-60 has turned out to be a reasonable car for what it promises.
